While the government is throwing money out the window to any failed corporation that wants it, the State of Texas pulled $2 million dollars from their state budget to fund a border watch project that has yielded thousands of arrests. The idea started with the American Border Patrol (ABP), a civilian watch group, along with various Minutemen groups, together...showed the government how to shut-down certain areas of the border with video and thermal imaging capabilities, costing far less than what tax payers have had to pay for similar federal projects that proved to be less effective.
