Attorney General Cuccinelli joins SC, other AGs, to cease threat to “right to work” states


RICHMOND – Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, and seven other state attorneys general sent a letter to the National Labor Relations Board late yesterday calling on the board to immediately withdraw its complaint of unfair labor practices against The Boeing Company. The attorneys general say the complaint “represents an assault upon the constitutional right of free speech, and the ability of our states to create jobs and recruit industry,” is retaliatory, and seeks to destroy their citizens’ right to work and not be forced to join unions to do so.
