There was a time when being a Democrat was cool. With President Kennedy, the Democrat Party had turned a corner. The past was left behind. The preservation of our freedom, and our culture, with Democrats finally beginning to welcome African Americans into the fold, became all important. Kennedy Democrats saw the future and jumped in with both feet.
JFK was the personification of cool, young, handsome, intelligent, articulate and he loved America. He was a veteran who served his country in time of war. Kennedy was willing to do what was necessary to protect America, yet he understood war and the hazard of the slouching, uncontrolled, unchecked descent into war. The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.

Well thank goodness we are blaming all of this on "incompetence" anymore!
Governments have never been "incompetent" but just use that as an excuse.

What a wonderful article! I too was a Democrat, gladly voting for JFK in my first ability to vote. Over the years I became more dissatisfied with them and became an independent. When we moved to Florida I was forced to declare in order to vote in the primaries. I choose to be a Republican and have never looked back! My family in Massachusetts call me a rebel and barely talk to me and NEVER about politics! It’s verboten, that is, if I want to keep contact with them. One of our sons also hasn’t seen the light, he and his wife are graduates of Berzerkly, (Berkeley) and were completely indoctrinated into the liberal world and he’s got a PHD! Smart but not thinking, although we think he’s coming around with the egregious things this administration is doing. He, like many Democrats, are seeing the light. We can only hope!

America is rapidly failing because we Republicans have elected Democrats posing as Republicans and many ranking Republicans (RINOs) have succumbed to the lure of grifted monies over dedication to country and honor.
The eschewing of their constituents and patriotism in return for handsome payments is the most heinous form of treason. There is no penalty commiserate with the lowness of betraying your supporters.

.... in the the traitorous, subversive, election-stealing, drug-addicted, sexually-predatory, mobster, Kennedy, the vast, RICO-racketeering, organized-sovereign-criminal, fascist-Marxist, hordes, that trade as the "democratic" party, had turned a corner. There emerged the appearance of the preservation of our individual liberties and of our Judeo-Christian culture, with Democrats finally beginning to feign their welcoming into the fold, the descendants of their ancestors' slaves, became all important. Kennedy's "democrats" and their useful idiots deluded themselves theirs was the future -- and jumped in with both feet.
JFK, meanwhile -- and Robert -- posing as and near-perfectly playing the personifications of the cool, the young, the handsome, the intelligent and the articulate ....
And as if Rock Hudson on steroids. Until, at Dallas -- and, later, at Los Angeles -- the read "democratic" party (industrial complex) reasserted itself -- and reality returned to the Deep State.
