Appraising any president and his administration is normally done by academics who hold, decidedly, a liberal and even a Marxist world view. They have never spent their adult years living in the real world, so they know nothing of it. What they see as invaluable is what the particular president wanted to do, his philosophy, his intentions, if you will. Accomplishment is never a factor. They seem blinded, even confused by reality. A conservative approach would be more meritorious, the treatment of the world as it is...achievement. Liberals hate that. They want to give credit for aspirations, not accomplishments. I look upon a president from the ground, not from the clouds.
