SACRAMENTO, CA – This week, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law that will ensure more women who are seeking abortions are harmed by chemical abortion pills. The legislation, which took effect immediately, advances dangerous chemical abortion access with virtually zero accountability by allowing anonymous prescriptions of abortion drugs, helping circumvent pro-life laws in other states with the interstate mailing of abortion pills, and with unprecedented shielding of abortionists from legal repercussions.
