I don't understand how any Christian could acknowledge any other King than Jesus. Charles is just a man--an INBRED--man, as the royal family only marries members of their own family. He's not better than than any other British man, the few times I've heard him speak, he didn't come off as particularly intelligent. Why do Brits merely accept that he's "royal" or even qualified to a "king"?

Canadians, you and America are in for some rough times. Just yesterday, in front of my house was a "shootout" and we're a small community, getting worse every day for all of us, I've said this before and I'm saying it again, Canada and America may have to join forces soon. Look up to Father God and pray to Lord Jesus that our children never have to go thru' this, they've already started on our children with the fentanyl that looks like candy. My prayers for Canada and even If I am an American, I had great respect for your Queen, she was an awesome power and a good person. God Bless all, please stay safe.

Let us pray we do not have another O'Toole, Trudeau, Mulroney, Charest etc. etc. on our hands. Pray we have a good decent man who stays true to Canada, keeping it sovereign, getting us all in shape to have a small Federal government with our Canadian business back to support Canadian jobs and prosperity, oil, gas and pipelines. etc.
Otherwise again we have no one to vote for. It is so sad that we can trust none of them, scared of what they will do not what they said they would. I certainly hope Pierre Poilievre stays true to only Canadians, but supporting King Charles and Scwhab is not a good start, on the very first day.

Even small links to the WEF worry me, but I think we'll need to watch Pierre and see what he does over the next month or two before drawing any conclusions.

In my opinion it may be too late for Pierre, Max Bernier or anyone else to save Canada. We can be hopeful, but there is also a need to be realistic about the magnitude of the Rural-Urban and Right-Left divide that Justin and Jagmeet have created.

Poilievre stood up for the truckers and that was admirable when no one else came out to talk with them, however, I wonder if he realizes the extent of the globalist reach. Trump took on the Deep State and the globalists, and they are still harassing him to this day intending to destroy him. Life has changed tremendously in the last 2 & 1/2 years. Politics is a dirty game even when you want to do the right thing, you may soon find out you’re fighting a loosing battle. We are living in the end times and the only one we can put our hope and trust in is Jesus Christ who is the way the truth and the life, and the only way out of this mess.

The greatest change that occurred in Canadian politics over the past century was the success of the Sovereigntist Movement in Quebec. It was a classic North American Anti-Immigration Movement, and it only ended when the federal government gave the province control over its immigration.

It surprises me that there is so little discussion of the split between Canada’s Rural and Urban regions. Rural areas are conservative, and have closer ties to their churches, traditions, and customs. Rural areas are more resistant to change. During Anti-Immigration Movements that resistance to change grows first in smaller cities and towns, and from there it slowly works its way into Urban regions.

I am far less hopeful than most about Canada’s and the US’s ability to cope with the division that exists today. There is a very real possibility that Diagolon, or the Independent Republics of America to use my name for it, may emerge from the chaos. Consider the following. Is there any reason why individual Republics (states and provinces) would cede any rights to a larger Federation that do not relate to self defence, the maintenance of its borders, and transactions that cross them?

Do the unions that currently exist create problems, while providing few benefits? Is it possible that the US and Canada have grown too large to survive? A federation of a dozen or so North American Republics, each with its own Constitution is doable and would reduce or eliminate most of today’s problems.
