Prime Minister Justin Trudeau championed the fight against global warming Thursday, putting Ottawa on a collision course with incoming president Donald Trump who has called climate change a Chinese “hoax.”
Even as he lauded his first conversation with the president-elect as a “strong beginning to what is going to be a constructive relationship,” Mr. Trudeau ruled out abandoning a carbon tax that could place Canada at an economic disadvantage with the United States. -- More...
