Chelsea Clinton's husband, Mark Mezvinsky, has closed his hedge fund and is in the process of returning money to investors
Given the long and controversial relationship between the Clinton's and the Mezvinsky's doesn't it seem realistic to think that Hillary Clinton's defeat contributed to the demise of Eaglevale?
Chelsea Clinton's husband, Mark Mezvinsky, has closed his hedge fund and is in the process of returning money to investors. The source doesn't say that he is returning all (emphasis on all) the money
Mezvinsky's mother, Congresswoman during the Clinton years, was the deciding vote on the Clinton Tax bill.
Back in 2003 Mezvinsky's father, Clinton friend, Democratic politician, and felon, was convicted of bank, mail and wire fraud and served 5 years in prison. Upon release he owed victims 9.4 million dollars. This was not bad luck or even bad management, it was embezzling using a Nigerian e-mail Ponzi scheme.
Fast forward to 2011, 3 years after his father's release from prison, Mark Mezvinsky, with the help of Lloyd Blankfein, Goldman Sachs CEO and Clinton supporter, started Eaglevale Partners. Eaglevale collapsed swiftly after the Nov. 2017 election.
Given the long and controversial relationship between the Clinton's and the Mezvinsky's doesn't it seem realistic to think that Hillary Clinton's defeat contributed to the demise of Eaglevale? Why is there not more in the press about this? Millennials probably never heard this story.
