The sadness and stupidity of the greens is exemplified with this story - misled well-meaning (but aren't most of the useful idiots well meaning?) but completely wrong...so there is a bit of fun in watching Germany do what it is.
Of course, by any appreciable metric, nuclear plants are the cleanest producers of power, but Michael Shellenberger points out in his book "Apocalypse Never" that they have been vilified thanks to the natural gas companies "donating" hundreds of millions of dollars to "environmental" activist groups like Sierra Club and 350.org in return for the favor of those groups making lots of noise to sway the, again, useful idiots. And why? Seems gas companies sell tons of natural gas to wind farms and solar plants - but shockingly none at all to the nukes! Go figure they want to see their non-customers put out of business...
Meanwhile, we see Pedo Pete has decided to do the most ridiculously retarded thing yet in the name of bogus climate change - pay reparations? After all, China produces about a quarter of the CO2 in the world, while the US contributes about 7%. Plus, China is still considered a "developing nation" - so essentially they get away with plans to build over a thousand coal plants this year while Greta and her cronies whinge at the western world.
At least Greta finally admitted her charade had nothing to do with climate but instead has been geared to destroying capitalism since, you know, communism is a better approach. And even she admitted in a talk show the other week that yes, perhaps nuclear power is the way to go.
So here we are, with a "president" intent on following the orders of his WEF masters and pandering to a completely bogus cause - ain't life grand?

So, what's the big deal, anyway? Hell, I'm 81, retired on Social Security ad the Biden folks have promised me an 8.6% increase next year. Heck, I'm gonna go to the nearest Mercedes Benz dealer and see how much of a Mercedes I can buy. Couple tires, maybe a hood ornament, and one of their remote door unlocking key fobs. Food, oh well, I need to drop 25 or 50 pounds. Yeah "The Government" gonna take care of me, right?
And, Mickey-D's dumpsters aren't behind barbed wire security fences anyway. A half-eaten Big Mac, some leftover fries, half of a soda. Oh, yeah, Biden gonna fill in the empty places......

Presently there is no substitute for fossil fuels. Ignoring this fact is as malicious as it is idiotic. Without fuel to heat homes in sub-zero winters people will die.
(We can see this as a goal for NWO globalists.)

Started a fire last night at about 8:00. Got it going nicely, then tossed in some dirty, filthy, deep mined Kentucky coal.
Kept me toasty all night.
