Common terms, like conservative and liberal, with traditional meanings may not mean the same things today. Still, there are definitions of conservative even the liberals have to accept because they are unchanging. Just as some want to abandon the term conservative, many Christians wanted to stop using the term “born again” that was popularized by President Jimmy Carter. It was evident, however, that it was wrong to abandon a term which has clear Biblical meaning (John 3:3, 5). Why would we let the world rob us of our most valuable terms?

Conservatism, above all other traits, is ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????? for deliberate actions. Beginning with the Bible, which in its times aggregated wisdom gained through experience and revelation, ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? by applying what we might call "common sense" - actually wisdom gained through learning and believing.

This article demonstrates one more time the confusion in minds concerning the concept "conservative". It originally applies to those who tend to conserve the existing values and order of things, or at least do not rush to implement new ideas without weighing them enough.
The above is rather a vague notion. I (and many others) call myself a conservative as the opposite of woke and liberasty, being a vehement enemy of woke and liberasty.
In America, first of all conservative means the one who values the Constitution and the principles of the Founding Fathers. The mixture of items presented in this article as though defining the conservatives is inconsistent or eclectic.
1. If the political spectrum of ideas is calibrated onto a segment [-100; +100], the Dems are at the point -100, Repoops at -90, and a few so-called "MAGA" repoops at the point -80. These "parties" are shams, a sign of the degeneracy of the political system of the US.
2. The Constitution is being grossly violated by all American governments and parties at least since 1860.
3-4. A belief as though the constitutionally protected life begins since the conception is neither conservative nor Biblical. (During the Founders abortions prior to quickening were allowed). However yes, many Americans calling themselves conservative, are obsessed with this belief: unenforceable and hypocritical.
6-7. No! Conservatives believe that sоdоmy is an abomination, and transgenderism is a vile anti-scientific medical crime.
9-12. Conservatives value and understand science, hence they view the entire climate hysteria as the greatest sham and a part of criminal globalist aspirations.
15. Not exactly. Conservatives demand that the budget do not allow debts and borrowing! That spending must never exceed the revenue, and the currency must be based on fixed gold equivalents like the Constitution requires.
18. Not exactly! America was founded as exactly Judeo-Christian nation with Christian majority; a nation SPEAKING ENGLISH. Not a nation of any religion in the world - a utopia that never works. It's a lie as though there is harmony between islam and other religions in Israel or anywhere.
19. Though Pres. Trump did have such an aspiration, and America was much better under him, he did not make America great again, which is impossible! First, make America straight again, and make America white (or (WASP) again...
And finally, "Being a conservative Republican" is an oxymoron.

Yet the most important quote applied to American Conservatives is this, by Mr. Scott Lively:
These "loser-conservatives" think their job is just to conserve the "status quo" whatever that might be at the moment, and as the status quo gets more liberal, so do they. They're the conservative movement's version of useful idiots, always moving leftward at the same rate of speed as the liberals, just ten paces behind. They're actually more idiotic than the liberal's useful idiots, who at least get the joy of winning each new battle as it gets fought, while the "loser-conservatives" never stop eating their dust while they adjust themselves to each new loss – perpetually.

I have found using the name "Liberal" to describe Canada's Federal ruling party to be absolutely misleading. The "Liberals" are the least 'liberal' and most intolerant, and disrespectful of the opinions and ideas of others, that currently exist in Canada.
