Culture of “Me” driving social, economic decline

Debt ceiling reruns, outstripping Congress’ past inactivity by placing no budget restrictions in the “deal” laced with language intended to mystify the public (and give cover to media and politicians), allowed self-focused representatives to ignore government overspending. Riots, looting, shooting, warmongering, Green New Dealing, social media influencing, loitering, drugging, and flat-out laziness were essentially green-lighted to continue at a runaway rate, all on the federal (our) dime.

Amid the nation’s cratering economy and infrastructure, individuals have been taught to concentrate on fulfilling their personal needs, which expectations are being methodically deflated. Media and public education have indoctrinated younger generations to believe essential necessities are limited to having cell phones, cash for their favorite beverage, drug, game or sensual indulgence, and a place to crash, preferably financed by someone else. Travel and expanding their experiences in the wider world has been discouraged except virtually or vicariously.

Thank you for another well defining article of the sewer of thoughts and deeds that surround us all. Having read today's missive, my thoughts wandered back to when I was a young boy. How innocent it all seemed to this young mind back when. But, then again, it had its dark moments as well. They just weren't so audacious in their exposure.
I watched this all happened as I forged my life and my life was forged. The reality you have written about should give good people the wakeup call they need. It is my hope that you words will synergize the hearts and souls of those who read your words. But...that would be preaching to the choir. The tortured souls who one would hope would read these words have been lost forever in an evil of their own creation. But, we shouldn't give up hope. Keep up your good work.

Again you have said this so well. People need to really pay attention to what is really happening, reading you on CFP, watching or reading Redacted etc. has had me near tears, angry, sick to my stomach even. Not wanting to believe the horrors these sick psycho, narcissists, pedophiles, satanists, and I cannot even come up with a bad enough description for those "globalist?" horror monsters.
These mostly arsonist caused fires in Canada I think have been set as another of their retarded for stupid people who cannot accept or even realize what is happening these are just another damaging corrupt distraction, a dog and pony show like the planned demic and the copy right pre-made kill shots (2014). WHO and the UN radicals "sick rich, robber barons, old greedy men, so called elitists" do not care in fact enjoy the idea of wiping us all out. Killing even our innocent babies for their drugged satanic sexual pleasure and too sick experiments in their pseudo science lying fake world.
We need to stand up and stop them not continue on being confused closing our eyes and believing someone else will do it. Do onto them as they are doing to us but they must be gotten rid of.

Culture of Social Security has led to the devaluation of children and the lack of care for raising them well enough to be productive citizens that will both love their parents enough to want to care for them and be prosperous enough to do so as well as still have resources left over for Christian charitable giving.

Where we are is far along the degradation chain and the 'me' idealization is many steps away from the drivers that caused it.

How do we get to a 'me' point of view position of growing children as they turn into adults?

Maybe through Social Security, a program that devalues children in such a way that people can either stop having children, or if they do have children fail to raise them to be loving and productive members of society. When all the adults in the nation are hell bent on give me mine, and no thank you, I will not have children, or if I do have children, I do not have to raise them well. Why? Because I have dibs on the wealth creation of other peoples children is why!

Yeah, I cannot imagine how we got to this point where the next generation is the 'me' generation. The Greatest Generation silent generation, who raised the boomer generation who raised the Generation X who raised millennials, who raised or are raising Generation Z, and Generation Z is raising Generation Alpha. Each Generation just a little more selfish than the last one. And each new generation starting with the Millennials being given a less prosperous nation than was given to the prior generation. But I would argue the second half of Generation X was really getting the shaft compared the the first half that I am part of.

Anyways, if children are devalued, do you really expect their prospects to continue to increase?
