The issue regarding defeating ISIS is quite simple. We have the means but we don't seem to have the will.
No thinking person can truly believe that the United States along with it's allies around the world cannot prevail
in this fight. We have superior weapons, better intelligence, and a stronger military, as do most of our allies.
What we do not seem to have is the resolve for the tough choices nor the stomach for the necessary strategy.
It is that lack of resolve and stomach that is our downfall.
