TORONTO—The Ontario government now forecasts it will finally balance the province’s operating budget by 2027, but given the current government’s history of missing its own fiscal targets, it’s questionable whether this one will be achieved, finds a new study released today by the Fraser Institute, an independent, non-partisan Canadian public policy think-tank.
