In a storm, and this is an economic tempest, there are times to act and there are times to hold a steady course, but panic will sink a ship

Does selling a home online fund the ‘Great Reset?’

Watching commercial television these days comes with constant hawking of pharmaceuticals, fast food, insurance and, increasingly, home sales to or through online vendors. It’s hard not to question the growing number of real estate ads centering on panicked home mortgagees (most folks don’t hold clear title to their residence) racing to buy a bigger house. In truth, how many homeowners can really afford to move up in a recessionary economy that’s artificially inflating real estate values? Why are corporate property peddlers pitching rushed sales in a market beset by rising interest rates due to the devalued dollar that’s shrinking real wages? Throw in the inflation strangled stock market where 401(K)s and retirement plans have lost $4 Trillion in value as of October 18, 2022, and it’s dubious why homeowners are being pressured to upgrade when their savings are being slashed by pernicious economic policies.

It is hard to find articles on this still. I guess all those who were told by many financial planners, smaller but fairly well off people, to buy up houses and these condos to rent them out and make an easy living? I read a year or so back about this. I also read that the now computerized stoves, fridges, washing machines and dryers, furnaces, air conditioners etc. will all be owned and controlled by them for each having a monthly rental/lease on them too. So yes we will own nothing and cannot afford anything if this continues and it will.
Then for the small investor making a living while paying off mortgages on their once good assets while renting them out at higher prices to do so will be in big trouble as once the big guys have full ownership of enough of these rentals, they will reduce the rent so the small guys have to and then cannot pay their mortgages, cannot afford the upkeep and higher and higher taxes and then loose their investments?
It is a very sick, and greedy economy our " bought out governments" are creating as we keep seeing more and more of it.
