How many articles telling the tales of electric buses, vehicles catching on fire, the replacement cost of EV batteries, the lack of charging stations, time/cost of charging an EV... Wondering why my Governor DeSantis here in Florida just announced a leading investment in clean energy for Florida today with a $68 million award for 227 electric transit buses, and an unknown secondary distribution from the Dept of Environmental Protection for 218 electric school buses. Governor DeSantis flies to New Jersey/ New York on Sunday, meets with billionaire developer Joseph Cyre, who just donated $400k+ to Democrat candidate Kathy Hochul. Immediately following the meeting, DeSantis cancels the fundraiser with Hochul’s opponent, Republican Lee Zeldin, and returns to Florida. Just wondering...

All good and correct comments, of course.
The real problem is that the "useful idiots" of the left are incapable of rational thought - they are driven by emotion almost completely, and knowing this the evil scum leading the leftist movement(s) prey on that inherent weakness by scaring the sheep into believing the world will end unless... (they eliminate fossil fuels, they get the jab, they stop using plastic, etc ad nauseum).
Of course, that very same left leadership (such as it is) has set their hypocrisy dial to 11 - from Gore et al flying in G5s and the like to that huge POS Obama owning an estate at sea level and installing a 2500 gallon propane tank (because, Barry, i guess fossil fuels are not such an existential threat after all?). But thanks to their eager followers in the MSM, impolite facts like that do not escape to the real world, where the useful idiots (so aptly named by Joseph Stalin all those decades ago) still bray about their cause du jour with no idea of what is actually going on.
