The GOP's Silver Linings: Pelosi and Clinton
Thank goodness for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. If not for their continuing mistakes and unpopularity, it would have been a tough week for President Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

The Trump administration is in the midst of another shake-up as a new Secretary of State and CIA Director were announced this week. More changes could be coming in the days ahead. While these changes are probably very good, the impression of an administration in upheaval is unmistakable.

California Has Become A Disgraceful State

California Has Become A Disgraceful State
At one time, California was the envy of America, attracting people from around the nation to move to a state offering opportunity and the chance to pursue ambitious dreams. With scenic beauty, the Pacific Ocean coastline, the major cities of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, California recruited entrepreneurs looking for economic growth. As the home of Hollywood and multitudes of celebrities, California presented an enticing potential to enjoy “lifestyles of the rich and famous.”

ABC: Anything But Conservative

ABC: Anything But Conservative
The people of the United States are not being very well represented by their broadcast and cable news networks. Except for Fox News, all of the other major television news operations are decidedly liberal, even though the country is considered to be center-right politically. While there is a Republican in the White House and the party controls most state legislatures, and the Congress has 33 Governors, most of the mainstream news media is in lockstep with the opposition party, the liberal Democrats.

There is no better example of liberal media bias today than ABC, the television network owned by the Walt Disney Company, the second largest media conglomerate in the world. The network is filled with liberal reporters and anchors and offers insufferable programs like The View, a morning “news” program geared to women. The hosts on the program are all liberal, except for one token moderate. The format is either a liberal love fest with a Hollywood or media star or an attack on conservatism.

Surprise, Guess Who Is More Popular than Obama?

Surprise, Guess Who Is More Popular than Obama?
On Friday, President Trump addressed the largest crowd of conservative activists in the history of CPAC. It was another memorable Trump speech, listing his many accomplishments and encouraging the crowd to support Republican candidates in the mid-term elections. For 80 minutes, the President discussed an array of issues such as tax cuts, judicial appointments, immigration and the strong economy.

To the delight of the crowd, Trump claimed that “we have got seven years to go folks.” Of course, this did not thrill the President’s many enemies in the national news media. MSNBC’s Ali Veshi said the President’s speech was similar to what he has “heard from Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro or Erdogan. President Putin gives something like this every year, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used to give speeches like this.” Both Veshi and his co-host, Stephanie Ruhle claimed that the speech was filled with “lies.” They were also aggravated that the President discussed 31 topics but did not mention Russia. Hey, Ali and Stephanie, since there is no collusion or obstruction of justice, why should he mention a “fake news” story like Russia?

Trump Hating Romney Still Wants to be President

Feb 17, 2018 — Jeff Crouere

Like his father, Mitt Romney has a burning desire to become President
In 1968, Michigan Governor George Romney failed in his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. The ambition to serve as our nation’s Commander-in-Chief was shared by his son, Willard “Mitt” Romney, who attempted to win the presidency four decades later. In 2008, Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, lost the GOP nomination battle to U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), who was subsequently destroyed by Barack Obama in the general election.

Rand Paul Stands Tall

Rand Paul Stands Tall
Thank God for U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY). At least there is one politician in the United States Senate who is concerned about deficit spending. On Thursday night, he led a lonely crusade against a two-year $400 billion spending bill that balloons the budget and massively increases the federal debt by over $1 trillion.

Paul continued the fight for hours, forcing a very brief government shutdown, and providing much needed attention to the spending habits of our federal government.  On the Senate floor, Paul, revealed the real problem was “Republicans hand-in-hand with Democrats offering us trillion-dollar deficits.” He said that the goal of the protest was for “people to feel uncomfortable” supporting such a huge spending bill.

The Mueller Witch Hunt Must End

The Mueller Witch Hunt Must End
After several agonizing days, the House Intelligence Committee memo was finally released to the public. President Trump rightfully declassified the document, allowing the American people a chance to learn about the abuses that occurred within the FBI and the Department of Justice.

The President made the courageous decision despite the strenuous objections of many Democratic Party leaders, a host of liberal media critics and the FBI, which released a rare public statement noting its “grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.” Fortunately, the President was not deterred and gave the American people a tremendous gift, transparency in government. He was motivated to release the memo because he believed the findings were very upsetting and that “a lot of people should be ashamed.”

An Obama Cover-Up Is Finally Exposed

An Obama Cover-Up Is Finally Exposed
In 2005, then U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) met with the Congressional Black Caucus along with Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan, a certified racist, homophobe and anti-Semite.

Obama’s meeting with Farrakhan was photographed by journalist Askia Muhammad.

It showed both of them smiling, surrounded by happy members of the Farrakhan entourage, including his son-in-law, two sons and Reverend Willie Wilson, Executive Producer of the Million Man March program.

CNN Has Jumped The Shark

CNN Has Jumped The Shark
Every day it is becoming clearer that CNN, the once proud ratings giant and unquestioned cable network news leader, has abandoned objective journalism to cultivate obsessive hatred for President Donald Trump. It has literally “jumped the shark,” meaning that a once distinguished broadcaster has become absurd. The original definition referred to the fifth season premiere episode of the hit TV show Happy Days, in which the main character, Fonzie, literally jumped over a shark while water skiing in his signature leather jacket. It is also a perfect reference to a broadcast network like CNN that has diminished greatly in quality and popularity.

Sadly, CNN has become infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome. The network is filled with liberal hosts and analysts who regularly spew antipathy toward our President. In the aftermath of the infamous White House meeting focused on solving immigration problems including how to deal with DACA recipients, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) claimed that the President used the word “s…hole” in reference to Haiti and countries in Africa. During the meeting, Trump supposedly asked why the United States should accept more people from those countries instead of countries such as Norway.

Secret Service Should Arrest Virginia Governor

Secret Service Should Arrest Virginia Governor
Under United State Code Title 18, Section 871, it is a felony for an individual to “knowingly and willfully” make a “threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States.” The punishment for this crime is severe, with a possible 5-year prison sentence and a fine of $250,000.

Unhinged Donald Trump hating liberals may want to become familiar with this law before issuing a threat against the President as they may be arrested by the Secret Service. No American, even Hollywood stars and politicians, is allowed to threaten the life or personal well-being of the President.

Steve Bannon is a Back-Stabbing Benedict Aronold

“They smile in your face, All the time they want to take your place…” The Ojay’s “Back Stabbers”

The Dow just reached 25,000, the economy is booming, and ISIS has been decimated, so of course the news media is talking about none of these stories. The latest political frenzy surrounds the new book, Fire and Fury, by controversial author Michael Wolff. It is basically a nasty, full-frontal attack on Donald Trump.

In response, the President said that he “authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book! I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist.”

As he finishes his first year in office President Donald Trump is hitting his stride politically. Right before Christmas, the President led the Republican Party to a major congressional victory. Passing the huge $1.5 trillion tax cut legislation a political triumph for the President and the GOP.

The victory was secured despite a very thin GOP majority in the Senate and the President’s perilous relations with a number of anti-Trump Senators. Fortunately, the benefits of the bill persuaded all Republican Senators to support the far-reaching legislation. The booming economy will now grow even faster in 2018.

Tell the United Nations Goodbye and Good Riddance

Tell United Nations Goodbye and Good Riddance

For decades, the United States has been a very hospitable host to this ungrateful, hateful collection of diplomats. By 2014, these international visitors had amassed over $16 million in unpaid parking tickets. For these diplomats, the laws of the United States are an afterthought and a mere inconvenience.

GOP Senate: Tax Reform or Bust

GOP Senate: Tax Reform or Bust
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been a disaster for the Republican Party and has been a totally ineffective partner for President Trump in passing critical legislation. After failing on the vitally important bill to repeal Obamacare, McConnell and his Republican colleagues face a major test in the tax reform bill.

The stakes could not be higher for the GOP and President Trump. If they cannot show results to the American people, there will be a political bloodbath in the 2018 mid-term elections.

The President is Making Promises Great Again

Dec 9, 2017 — Jeff Crouere

The President is Making Promises Great Again
By announcing that the United States would move our embassy to Jerusalem and recognize the historic city as the capital of Israel, President Donald Trump has once again delivered on a key campaign promise.

In his first year in office, President Trump has made it a refreshing habit to fulfill his pledges to the American people. Whether it is removing the United States from the odious trade deal known as the Trans Pacific Partnerships (TPP) or bowing out of the expensive and unfair Paris Climate Agreement, President Trump has been keeping true to the vows he made as a candidate.

In the case of the Jerusalem decision, President Trump is acting with courage, while previous Presidents only made hollow campaign promises.

While the liberal media is celebrating the announcement that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, a bigger scandal was practically ignored.

On Thursday, Judicial Watch released 29 pages of FBI emails regarding the inexcusable June 27, 2016 meeting between former President Bill Clinton and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac of the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ. This meeting was not accidental, as Clinton purposely delayed the takeoff of his aircraft to arrange the supposedly impromptu encounter with the Attorney General.

This week on the Ringside Politics radio show (M-F, 7-11 am, WGSO 990-AM & we conducted our annual listener poll, asking the audience who should be our “Turkey of the Year.”

The competition was very spirited for there were so many potential turkeys to consider in 2017. Some of our worthy nominees included Hillary Clinton, U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), ungrateful UCLA father LaVar Ball among many others.

Nov 19, 2017 — Jeff Crouere

In this first 300 days, President Trump has faced intense opposition from a variety of enemies. Of course, Democrats and the media have been opposed to everything he has proposed. The “deep state” bureaucrats have proven to be a formidable adversary as well. Unfortunately, “Never Trump” conservatives and establishment Republicans have also been very uncooperative. His legislative agenda has been stalled as Obamacare has not been repealed, despite eight years of GOP promises, and the prospect of the tax reform package passing the U.S. Senate looks very questionable.

Acting on his own, President Trump has been successful in issuing executive orders and slashing regulations. He has brought a new attitude to foreign relations, trade deals and has shown his unflinching support for our military, both active service members and veterans.

One year ago, the political earth stood still with the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. A majority of American voters in 30 states awarded their electoral votes and the presidency to an outsider, a businessman and reality TV star with decades in the public eye, but no experience as an elected official. He won by running against the establishment in both political parties, the media, bad trade deals, and policies of countries such as Mexico and China that he believed were not in the best interest of the American people.

Unlike previous GOP presidential candidates, Donald Trump connected with voters in Rust Belt states who were ignored in the past. He talked about jobs, trade deals, coal, infrastructure, a border wall, tax cuts, repealing Obamacare and putting “America First.” After supporting phony Democratic presidential nominees for years, these blue-collar voters gave Donald Trump the margin he needed for victory.

The New Orleans Saints have a wonderful 50-year relationship with long suffering fans that have supported the team through mostly losing seasons. Unfortunately, the team is putting that relationship in jeopardy with their asinine position on the National Anthem controversy.

For some unknown reason, the team’s management and coaching staff have decided to support the right of disgruntled players to protest alleged social injustice during the National Anthem. In week 3 of the season, ten players sat for the Star-Spangled Banner and since that time multiple players have been kneeling prior to the anthem being played.
