If the Republican Party were a major sports franchise, there would be some changes made by the ownership of the team. The owners are the voters who, with bad choices at best to make at the ballot box, must endure yet more whining and finger pointing episodes from those who have ascended to the top of the party apparatus. We see feckless, vapid and vacuous individuals who may be elected to public office, but who lack even the slightest scintilla of leadership ability. However, our “leaders” have failed us miserably in the past three election cycles.
