At this dark time in a world that has gone upside down when we need each other the most, we are sometimes falling out of touch with each other.
Some people are falling off the radar laid low by depression; others because they are busy just trying to survive.
But so-called ‘Survival of the Fittest’ is not likely to make it if we give up on the morale-boosting support of dear and trusted friends.

Your sentence, "Happiness on Earth, which in reality is the Valley of Tears, is and always will be as fleeting as the bubbling effervescence on a freshly poured soft drink." is so well put. What a fresh perspective on an ancient theme.
We watch a lot of YouTube videos with Charlie Kirk, Matt Walsh, and others. Taking on the sick, evil, deceived people in our society, our heads become full of the insane trash of a woke world. It is almost like a train wreck where you can't look away. But then I get tired of watching all this darkness. If I am looking at the world, I am taking my eyes off of Jesus. I need to focus on Him, and not on the world. Look past the problems and look to the problem solver. I need to remember each day to count my blessings and be grateful to Him who sustains me!
Thank you, Judi for reminding me of what we need to do.
