On Tuesday afternoon, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announced that the FBI refused to apply with his subpoena and thus he will be holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress. Chairman Comer is demanding that the FBI hand over a document that a whistleblower alleges documents President Biden's bribery scheme.
"Today, the FBI informed [GOP Oversight] that it will not provide the unclassified documents subpoenaed by the Committee," Comer announced in a tweet. "The Committee will now be taking steps to hold FBI Director Wray in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a lawful subpoena." ---More...
