As much as federal agencies are running roughshod over average citizens, who have done nothing more than nonviolently voice their opinion on or near public property, their jurisdiction is limited.
“Really?” some may ask. Yes, really. The problem is that sheriffs have been conditioned to ignore the fact that they are endowed with the highest order of legal authority in the nation. The FBI, ATF, and other executive agencies have the proper ability to enforce warrants within a county outside of Washington, D.C. if the county sheriff allows them that latitude within their jurisdiction.

Sheriffs have the power and authority to keep ALL FEDS out of their county, period. No doubt, there are many weakened, compromised Sheriffs NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. Unfortunately, our "Representatives" have allowed rogue federal alphabet agencies to become heavily armed and a danger to a peaceful society.

In Tennessee the F_ailing B_asic I_ntegrity were harassing a man over and over in a county outside Memphis. The Sherrif found out and told them if he caught them doing it anymore the would be arrested. This was probably a decade ago. They have that power and some will use it. It takes Moral Courage.

sooner or later they are going to step into something that is specifically set for them and there will be a very large letter body count. The people will only stand for so much, and if they know you are coming for them, well... id hate to be you.

This is just another (and the last step) in the constitutional republic's system of checks and balances that the founding fathers designed. In today's world, what's really scary, is that the sheriffs are the last line of defense from a tyrannical, out of control centralized government.
