First half sales stronger for industry and some members compared to ‘09

By David Adams TORONTO Sales for the first half of 2010 were ahead significantly for many vehicle manufacturers having been augmented by a strong June compared to June 2009. Overall industry sales for June were up 11.6% to 154,564 units for June 2010 with first half sales for the industry up 9.1% to 786,401 units.
