For decades the domestic enemies of the United States of America have done nothing but denigrate the American Founding Fathers, referred to “as a bunch of old white men,” who are not in any way a legitimate consideration in the modern world. In light of my reading of the writings of these men, those critics are undoubtedly the most ignorant people in America. The depth of understanding of our Founding Fathers regarding human nature is astounding. They totally understood the brilliance and the foibles of how human beings have operated throughout history. These men, in fact, learned from the mistakes of their ancestors. These men recognized and designed a system of government that provided their descendants with the best opportunity to avoid the mistakes of the past.
While the Founding Fathers were developing this opportunity, they also identified exactly where this system could fail. They identified the human weaknesses that could result in the failure of this nearly perfect government system, and they spoke of it often. Not only did they design a nearly perfect government, they detailed and documented exactly what their descendant needed to watch for to prevent the ultimate failure of that government. They recognized that history repeats itself and the only difference throughout history is the technology of the times.
