President Biden's net zero goal will result in higher electricity prices, instability to the grid and higher taxes to pay for the tax incentives renewable energy -- Sounds like he is doing his best to follow Germany's lead

Germany's Continuing Energy Fiasco

Most Germans used to be enthusiastic supporters of the country's Energiewende (transition of renewable energies),especially in the early days when they were brazenly misled about the endeavors humungous costs and technical limitations. (1)

Those days are gone. Catastrophic report: whopping 88% of those surveyed see move to green energies as unachievable.

As the government gears up to try to pass legislation that would force most home owners to carry out extensive renovation to their homes and upgrades to their heating systems, the Energiewende is suddenly no longer looking like a bargain and is no longer welcome by the vast majority of Germans. That Merkel et al fell for the idiocy of "climate crisis" was sad enough - the sense of schadenfreude we who have working brains can get from seeing their energy costs skyrocket and them cutting back a windmill farm to expand coal miming operations is little recompense for their sad situation. But, as we knew it would, reality eventually hit them between the eyes - and it is good to see the people are perhaps beginning to wake up.

Italy too seems to have been moving lately away from the dictates of the WEF, which is heartening to see. My question is how the Brits can stand the level os stupid to which they are being exposed (15 minute cities - really?). And of course, Canada has reached, it seems, almost New Zealand levels of tyranny.

I still await any of the scum who bray about global warming and reducing CO2 by encroaching on the rights of others to have a chat with Mr Xi of China and stop him from building all those coal fired power plants this year. Until they do that (are you listening, Mr Gore or little Greta?) they can stuff it.

I know some of the European governments are now backing off of the new expensive not trustworthy radical not green agenda lies. Now that too many are in financial trouble and companies are closing down. We are still being pushed further into this huge radical mess.
Oh and I just found out that our ten year old boiler serviced every year that was supposed to last 30 years plus, but was made in China blew up, almost the house too, and the even more expensive replacement they now say will maybe last ten years and they told me none are made in North America any longer? This is pretty dangerous and my gas bill here in Canada has tripled in ten years especially lately with the carbon tax, so has my hydro, I live in a city close to Niagara Falls so it is hydro.
We are all heading for lots of trouble with our insurrectionist placed fake puppet WEF governments.

To make sure there is sufficient electricity to operate all the newly mandated heat pumps (which are less efficient in cold weather) during the cold winter nights (when solar panels are useless), Germany just decommissioned their last three nuclear generating plants.

I doubt the cost of building additional coal and natural gas generating plants to produce the additional power needed to provide the electricity needed to operate the heat pumps has been figured into the costs.
