Most farmers only fertilize areas of their fields that need it. It has been the always careful monitoring of their fields and careful looking after to keep their soils healthy year after year. Now we have big factory companies that just do not know how to farm that apply fertilizer where it really is not needed. There is so much to learn from real farmers that this pseudo science just has not a clue about.
I used to know a professor who taught farming techniques at a nearby University. He took students to South America to teach the farmers there how to grow corn? making their fields produce way more. When he came back he realized how little he really knew, his fields of corn had failed miserably and theirs still produced their usual amount. He was confounded when he realized after learning from them how well they knew the soils and what to do with different locations on their fields etc. so he said he was taking a sabbatical for some years to actually work on farms and learn from farmers in different areas. Since most farmers love their area and know their own land, worked on it their whole lives with their families left to continue on them I always wondered how he made out? It is really sad to see people with real knowledge being downtrodden by people who believe they know so much science from someone else who learned it in school without the experience in their back ground. They only grow new big words successfully so sound knowledgeable but do not really know anything but words? He said this to me.
No real farmer wants to pollute their land and put expensive sprays and fertilizers when they are not needed, these could also hurt your farms animals. Leave farming to the humble people who really know how their huge knowledge is being replaced by this destructive many times wrong science.
Also Canada produced lots of fertilizers and they were bought out and many American farms no longer can get them from Canada so nothing again about this caused war is causing any of these horrors going on this is all in the build back better much worse plans.
