The top federal prosecutor overseeing criminal cases at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., has abruptly resigned, claiming that Trump-appointed officials insisted she investigate a government contract awarded during Joe Biden’s administration and take decisive action to freeze the recipient’s assets.
