INTRODUCTION: Christ as Messiah: Happy Easter! But why do Christians claim that only Jesus Christ offers eternal salvation --when the world overflows with ‘saviors’? The Bible states every other savior is a copy, a hoax, a faux hero, an outright fraud. This is a jarring statement! But the biblical claim is that Jesus appeared as a unique, sacrificial, brilliant, loving and theologically exhaustive savior such that only God on earth as man could achieve.
We note a number of other religions propound pseudo saviors, found in the other biblically oriented religions--Islam & Judaism, etc. So why do these fail? For those alarmed at such exclusive claims, we honor the devotees of these religions while confronting them by pointing out the heresies involved. From the Christian perspective, on this Easter, we assert there is only one means to Salvation--Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Salvation from what? If there was a "soul" outside of black music, or if we somehow lived again after dying, we would know it by now. The "salvation" offered is going to a happy life after death instead of a hellish one. I never believed in the Tooth Fairy, I knew that coin came from a parent, I gave up on Santa Claus at age 4, and I marvel at all the different religions with all their different gods and how not one offers any proof of anything, yet those who preach them make tidy livings without having to labor much.
Those who fervently believe and cling to a deluded hope of living forever will chastise me for these words, because they're afraid to die, they just don't want to, and what I'm saying threatens their unfound belief that they don't have to.
We don't have "Eternal souls", that's just some claptrap some priest made up in ancient times to keep the money coming in. We don't come back to life in a new body after we're dead even though the Hindus believe in reincarnation, we're just as dead as a dog run over in the street.
Religions help keep a lot of people peaceful, with some, and foment mass murder with others. "God is on our side". Nope. God is never on a side. The Old Testament, which comes from the Hebrew bible, says that God is Love. Starts there, ends there. If you have love in your heart, you have God in your heart. Take that and leave all the rest, all the dogma, all the doctrine, all the stained glass window.

Not a bad article if the term 'universal' is used to mean that salvation is offered to everyone, John 3:16 ... but that not all will believe on Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, 'universalism' (...ism) is a heresy since not all will be saved.
