MARKHAM, ON, - On the strength of strong new models such as the Sonata and Elantra, the passenger car line-up of Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. has landed at the top in terms of overall sales volume for the first quarter of 2011. Hyundai's year-to-date passenger car sales of 18,704 units surpassed second-place Toyota (including its Lexus and Scion brands) by 219 units and third-place GM by 1,645 units.
Hyundai Canada offers a complete passenger car line-up ranging from the Accent subcompact to the Equus full-size luxury sedan, including the rear-wheel drive Genesis Coupe.
