Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. announced today it had sold 8,700 units in February, surpassing the company's previous 2010 February sales record by 2.3 percent.
Hyundai Canada has sold a total of 15,384 units year-to-date, representing an increase of 5.5 percent over the first two months of 2010. Canadian consumers once again recognized the strength of Hyundai's all-new products, making February the 26th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases. In the second full month on sale of the all-new model, the Elantra posted its best month ever with sales of 2,820 units. The Tucson, Sonata, and recently-released Elantra have made Hyundai synonymous with fluidic styling, high levels of standard safety equipment, and best-in-class fuel economy.
