“The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” Too bad the Marxist justice warriors don’t adhere to that enlightened approach.

It Doesn’t Add Up. One + One = Two, But Two + Two = Racist

When I was in junior high school, one of my teachers told me that “math is your friend.” To which I responded, “well it’s not my friend.” He then said something that I will never forget. He told me think about it, “math is the only subject that will always have an answer.” At the time I wasn’t a big fan of math, but the idea that the correct answer was out there and all I had to do was find it, had never occurred to me before. It was all about perspective, and as I started my professional career, math did indeed become my friend. I used it every day in ways that I had never dreamed of when I was back in school.

I remember when and old teacher told me that if I wanted to have educated children I needed to teach them reading writing and math at home because schools were no longer doing so. My youngest is 46 now. My oldest is 54 now. Yes I did teach them as much as possible at home, but realized history geography and science were missing or taught wrong at school too.
My oldest went along to get along and went right through university 5 years of it, criminology she works in Insurance and has traveled the world.
My youngest got hung up on the odd information he was being taught. A farm boy an avid reader too being told eg. turtles sit on their eggs to keep them warm till they hatch was one that just really upset him. We had chickens ducks turkeys and geese and a creek with ponds with fish and turtles etc. running through our farm he knew firsthand this was not so, he told the teacher this and was sent to the office and punished while the class laughed as they all knew it was not so too being in a farming community. Just one example of these teachers so he refused to trust them time after time of wrong information. I used to tell him it is all a game just play along you have to pass so you can complete this needed "education" to carry on in life and get a good job. I did go to the school and try to talk several times, there was just so much wrong back then even and now this farce of an education just getting worse. After my sons reaction to it I understand why these mass shootings take place he likes the facts, the truth, he just gets angry about these things going on now and now says these high paid morons who know little just propaganda and lies I would never put a child of mine through that. He says "So A. G. Bell invented the phone? so what, teach me how it actually works and I would care. and really learn something"

The good news is that those who are buying into the fallacy are moving to be in one place. That place will be where nothing works. Fine with me as I know that math is the basis for most of life as we know it today and embrace the hard fact of math as absolute. In my small town the machines will run and life will be good because we don't blame math or anything else for our inability to do something.
