It is difficult not to write satire
I was put in mind of that this week when we learned that the estimable and honorable Merrick Garland had appointed the nearly as estimable and almost equally honorable David Weiss as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden.
Upon hearing this I was also somewhat inexplicably put in mind of a braying jackass.
More and more this is the sound I hear when anyone from the Biden Administration speaks. From the Big Guy himself to Merrick Garland to Karine Jean Pierre, all of their words in all of their voices have, for me blended into a kind of shrill cacophony of mendacity, a corrupt and caliginous collection of braying nonsense served up by crap weasels.
The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
Big Tech and Big Media are gunning for the Conservative Voice—through their Comment Sections.

Hunter Biden’s appointment of a special counsel will be a fair and non-political trial---WRONG.
The special prosecutor must obtain approval for any moves by Attorney General Garland. This is the same Garland and prosecutor who gave Hunter an unheard of outrageous sweetheart plea deal for hiding millions in income and illegal gun possession, not to mention the millions in foreign money trail. The prosecutor knows that pursuing the Biden money trail will make him a political target of the Democratic-media machine and destroy his career.
Please don’t forget Adam Schiff and the Russian hoax “I have the proof” who takes his lie as a badge of honor. The Schiff lie was 100% supported by the Democrat House. Welcome to the Banana Republic of America.

I found the title "jackasses bray while the country burns" amusing even though it is infuriatingly true. Thank you, Charles Martel, for an excellent podcast. All true. I still find it hard to believe that some people in this country adamantly refuse to believe what is right in front of their eyes. They have willfully allowed themselves to be brainwashed, spouting talking points with no substance.
(I think the word in the written portion should be "caliginous" and not "calligulous." That through me off for a moment.)
