The long-awaited trial of Catholic Hong Kong journalist and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) critic Jimmy Lai began Monday. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
“Lai
has been an outspoken advocate of human rights and democratic freedoms
