House Democrats were elated on Monday after U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta ruled in their favor. Judge Mehta concluded that President Trump’s accounting firm, Mazars USA, must turn over eight years of his financial records to the House Oversight Committee, and he also denied Trump’s request for a stay pending appeal.
