NASHVILLE, TN-- The Tennessee Senate passed a bill in a 19-8 landslide on Wednesday that would make the Holy Bible the state's "official book." This occurred after the bill, sponsored by Republican Senator Steve Southerland, was passed 55-38 by the state House. Republican Governor Bill Haslam has not indicated whether he will sign it.
