Laura Loomer exposed the fact that the Kevin McCarthy-backed California GOP changed their party rules from a winner take all system, meaning that now, the runner-up in the California GOP Primary will also receive a large share of delegates. California awards the most GOP delegates out of any state, so even if DeSantis gets a distant second, he could still be awarded enough delegates to give his campaign a chance to win the GOP nomination.
In 2016, Ted Cruz and John Kasich teamed up in an attempt to block Trump from receiving the required number of delegates. Loomer has correctly pointed out that many who were on Team Cruz in 2016, like Jenna Ellis, are now on Team DeSantis. ---More...
