The details are still emerging, but what it looks like is this: Two masked gunmen, presumably radical Islamists, stormed the offices of the Paris-based satirical newspaper known as Charlie Hedbo and opened fire. Twelve are dead, including the editor in chief and two well-known cartoonists who had displeased Muslims with their work. The paper had routinely taken on Islam in a satirical fashion, often looking at what France might be like if Islamists ran the show. Today the Islamists horrendously proved them right:
