The Electoral College system is under attack as never before. With Nevada about to join the other fourteen states in joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, we are moving closer to both the possibility of mob rule and, unfortunately, a terrible confrontation.
Democrats were stunned by their loss in 2016. They were sure they had the election won months before it took place. People were chosen, plans were made. But, it didn't happen. The states chose differently...by people, by region, by interests, by values. It was designed that way. It was constructed to give voice to every state's burdens, every state's concerns. The Electoral College was devised to give every state a voice in choosing the President of the United States, the only national election. A pure democracy does none of that.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
