"Today the Canadian Red Ensign is flying over the Historical Canadian National War Memorial in Ottawa that was built in honour of all those Canadians that died in World War One, by their generation of Canadians. That flag should be there flying every day, forever for the sake of truth and honour and every Canadian that cares."
CORRECTION; After seeing some news pictures and speaking to a good friend at this ceremony, I now realize the old flag was on a pole the size of a coat rack and my friends Canadian Red Ensign was flying higher on a tent pole in the crowd and that is in a CBC online article picture.
