The Trump administration has a goal to cut between 300,000 and 400,000 federal jobs, aiming to reverse a significant expansion of the federal workforce under former President Joe Biden, according to Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor.

In an Aug. 7 interview with CNBC, Kupor said between 300,000 and 400,000 federal jobs were added during the Biden administration. The current plan, he said, is to “return the federal workforce to essentially where it was when President Trump left office” in 2021. ---More...
