Restaurants and other businesses targeted by anti-vaccine and anti-mask protesters need better protection, New Democrat Leader Andrea Horwath said Tuesday in proposing legislation to create “safety zones” enforced by police and bylaw enforcement officers.
Horwath said the NDP will table a private member’s bill after MPPs return to the legislature in mid-September that would create buffer zones to keep protesters further away.-- More...
