Since January 20, 2025, there has been much discussion by both Americans and Canadians in CFP/AFP concerning whether there is potential for Canada to choose to become the 51st state of America. I even wrote an earlier piece on the subject. Since then I have pondered the subject quite a bit. In my original piece, I pointed out that America and Canada are really brothers in every way. The only real difference is that America cut our umbilical cord with Britain 250 years ago.
