Remember, without America there will be no free world, and, America with the 51st State of Canada would be a better America

Since January 20, 2025, there has been much discussion by both Americans and Canadians in CFP/AFP concerning whether there is potential for Canada to choose to become the 51^st state of America. I even wrote an earlier piece on the subject. Since then I have pondered the subject quite a bit. In my original piece, I pointed out that America and Canada are really brothers in every way. The only real difference is that America cut our umbilical cord with Britain 250 years ago.

Canada has a constitution (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms) and America has a constitution. From what I read, it appears that the current government in Canada is not respecting Canada’s constitution or citizen’s rights which is much worse than what America experienced during the Biden administration. Thankfully, American citizens were able to change things up to recover most of our repressed rights and it is getting better every day. Trump’s MAGA programs are working very well. As I see it, Canada needs a Trump clone to take on the Marxists World Economic Forum (WEF) leaders who are currently in charge of Canada’s government. Canada needs someone who will Make Canada Great Again and Make Canada Safe Again.

I recommend that Canadians take an hour (yes, it is that short) to read the United States Constitution and consider what it might have to offer you as an individual citizen. Is it better or worse than what you live under today?

As I understand it, individual taxes in America are far less than what is paid by Canadian citizens. Less is more in this case.

The current tariff issue is mostly a distraction. America and Canada should simply eliminate all tariffs (as have Israel and the US) because our economies are so closely interconnected.

The historic tariff disparity between Canada and America was stupid and made no sense at all. Worse case, tariff will be equal going both ways, but still stupid as far as I am concerned.

As mentioned in my earlier article, if Canada were to become the 51^st state, it would have about the same political influence as California at the federal level. That is an issue for some Americans who fear the ratio of conservative to liberals in Canada might even be worse than California, which might upset the balance of power in Congress.

I am not particularly concerned because by the time “Canada as a state” should occur, the Democrat Party will be too weak and maybe gone altogether if they stay on their current trajectory.

In November 2024, America stopped the pending takeover of America by the evil Marxists and the WEF. I fear that without help, it might be too late for Canada, and if Canada falls to those evil foreigners who wish to do harm to Canada, America will be left to fight that evil alone.

Were Canada to petition to become a state and the American Congress approved, her citizens would instantly have the same rights as current American citizen, the same lower taxes, and the State of Canada would become a part of a super-power on the international stage.

More important, Canada would have Trump fighting to make Canada great again and kick the legs out from under international forces trying to dominate the Canadian government and repress, even more, all Canadian citizens.

Canadian citizens would become part of the biggest and strongest economy in the free world and her natural resources could be exploited for the benefit of all her citizens and create high paying jobs.

The real question has nothing to do with either the American or Canadian governments. The real question today is the same as it was in 1776 America. What is in the best interest for the individual citizen of Canada? The tyrannical government of Canada today, seems to be headed toward more and more tyranny for the citizens of Canada in the future. Sacrificing each individual’s freedoms for the sake of the many has failed everywhere it has been tried. Is it time for the citizens of Canada to try something else? Each must ask: What is in my best interest? Only Canadian citizens can answer those questions.

Many Americans are praying for each and every Canadian citizen to have a better life.

Remember, without America there will be no free world, and in my humble opinion, America with the 51^st State of Canada would be a better America.
