Witnesses describe horror and panic after vehicle "slams" into crowd
Eyewitnesses described New Year’s Eve revelry turning into horror when a vehicle crashed into a crowd on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens more.
“All I seen was a truck slamming into everyone on the left side of Bourbon sidewalk,” said Kevin Garcia, 22, speaking to CNN shortly after the incident. “A body came flying at me,” he said, adding that he also heard gunshots being fired. -- (CNN)
