An Historical Perspective On Today’s Events: This reminds me of . . . June 1941

Russia v. Ukraine 2022 is like Germany v. Soviet Union 1941

Russia v. Ukraine 2022 is like Germany v. Soviet Union 1941Lots of people have their knickers in a twist over this Ukraine vs. Russia story. But it reminds me of a very similar situation from June, 1941. People had their knickers in a twist then, too. Germany had already dominated or captured the Rhineland, Austria, the Sudetenland, Poland, France and the Low Countries, Yugoslavia, and Greece. Adolf Hitler had been in power since 1933. He had become the absolute ruler of a reborn Germany, crushing political opponents, religions, and ethnic groups he didn’t like. His campaign to eliminate all Jews in Germany and other conquered territories began in earnest in 1941. Nobody liked him, but most everyone feared him

I get the author's point.

He backs up his POV with history, but the underlying conclusion that he wants us to draw would be that Zelensky is either a Hitler or a Stalin. He is neither.

That there is corruption in Ukraine is known.

There is much more to that corruption in that both the US and the USSR have meddled.

The US (Globalists) won the first round with the Maidan Revolution. Putin took the second round, scoring heavily with the taking of Crimea.

The bottom line is that Ukraine is independent, and Putin is not just balkanizing the country, he is absorbing the country.

I find the need to stretch the analogy too great to arrive at the author's conclusion.

The bottom line is that Russia has committed a bloody and unconscionable aggression on a neighboring state - all for territory. Hitler did that. Stalin did that. Zelensky did no such thing.

That is where the analogy ends.

You may not like Zelensky, and you may not like the fact that he is cozzying up to the Globalists / EU - But what the author didn't reference is that when Russia invaded Finland in 1939, and received no help from Europe, it resorted to allying with Hitler in 1941 to get back at Russia .

That action does not make Finland a NAZI state.

Ukraine is now an independent nation and is doing whatever it can to remain intact.

"His campaign to eliminate all Jews in Germany and other conquered territories began in earnest in 1941." This is one of those things that keeps getting repeated, over and over by Rothschild/Khazar-OWNED Media, from day one. Have YOU got ANY proof this was Hitler's intent, other than the Rothschild-Controlled Media that Financed Hitler? If not, then YOU are part of the problem. As time goes on it becomes clearer that it was ALL A LIE. What isn't a lie are the 100 Million Christian Russians murdered by the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks were also financed by the Rothschild's, through their concubine American Banker Schiff. The Bolsheviks were not ethnic Russians and they hated Russians. They hated Christians, yet you SPEW your PROGRAMMED BULLSHITE as if this has no factor in anything, mainly because you were never taught anything other than what the Rothschild Media wants you to know, then you repeat it liken a good little MORON.
Since you are too stupid to think for yourself, I will help you. The Bolsheviks were 80% Zionist JEWS. Fake KHAZAR Jews with a very long history of stealing people's identities, with no trace of Hebrew genetics whatsoever, living in Palestine today. 97% DO NOT possess Hebrew genes, yet YO are calling them Jews as if they are related to real Jews. Maybe you should look at your all CAPS name and consider that one, British SUBJECT/SLAVE.
So, since you are too IGNORANT to know what and who is residing in Palestine, I will hold your little hand and show you. But you will not listen, because you are a Programmed DOLT.
"And I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synagogue of satan."
But you will not post this because you are, liken I said, part of the problem. You are a LIAR, and good with it. Your reward is coming.

There are lots of good Russians and Ukrainians, sadly his is all created with corruption in leadership, traitors, placed or sold out corrupt people by the elites or ultra rich. This all is what is happening here now too. Although from what I have read strongman Pres, Putin has really been good at building up and protecting his countrymen and the east of Ukraine is full of Russians who want to separate and voted to but Ukraine just wanted them out and began forcing them out. After many of them were being murdered Russia asked the UN to step in and od xourse hey would not Putin thought Ukraine would stop this if he put Russian military at the border, where they sat from Nov. 2021 trying to talk to Ukraine, many Russian families about 800.000 were picked up and brought to safety while their men stayed on to protect the lands their families had owned for centuries all Russian culture and speaking there and begging Pres. Putin for help to keep their area of Ukraine separated and originally Pres. Putin did not want to help but Ukraine was threatening them much worse in this time more Ukrainian Russians were murdered and after winning? in Maripole (?spelling) Ukraine they have now found mass graves there of 100's Murdered Ukrainian Russians just as the Russian refugees said there were and say many more mass graves will be found.
They keep talking here like the Russians want the whole of Ukraine but they just wanted to help their former people remain safe and separate that was why they did not call it a war, but the west is making it one.
I began thinking this was another nasty dog and pony show like the planned demic and other set up agendas, and it may be, the UN and it's WEF, WHO etc. and elites are ruthless and haters.

From CFP Columnist Bruce Smith

To J Goodman:

I don’t care whether you draw a conclusion or not. That’s up to you. I neither said nor suggested that Zelensky is either a Hitler or a Stalin. I suggested that both Zelensky and Putin are odious.

Ukraine is independent and Putin would like to absorb the country. Those are both facts.

No one suggests that Zelensky committed a bloody and unconscionable aggression on another state. But being invaded tends to swing sympathy toward those suffering invasion. That was true in 1941, and it’s true in 2022. Lots of people disliked Russia and Germany in 1941, and lots of people dislike Ukraine and Russia in 2022. Disliking them doesn’t mean they get no sympathy when someone invades. This time it’s Ukraine being invaded. That means they automatically get more sympathy than do the Russians. The analogy is to 1941. Nobody liked the Russians, but they still got lots of sympathy when the Germans invaded.

Your reference to Finland siding with the Germans to get back at Russia ignores my point that Ukrainians did the same thing in 1941 to get back at Russia. Everybody understands why Ukrainians and Finns would do that. That action does not make Finland a Nazi state, nor does it make Ukraine a Nazi state, just like I said. You’ll remember, perhaps, that the Finns made the Russians regret their aggression in the Winter War. Do you say that the Russians have no regrets here in June, 2022?

I think you have read your own inclinations into my writing. My aim was to draw comparisons between 1941 and 2022. There are several comparisons, but none of them is perfect. My conclusion is the last sentence. I don’t think there are any good guys to root for in this one.

And if you must know, I have a Ukrainian flag sticker on my car. Generally speaking, I don’t like it when the bully, whoever it is, kicks the door in and beats up the neighbors. I refer to the Germans in 1870, 1914, and 1940.

My conclusion stands.

The fact that the UN and Biden administration supports Zelensky tells me everything I need to know. We have no business being there or interfering in this conflict!
