Civil Rights are much touted and oft overlooked in our country. Back in the '60s, in an effort to guarantee equality of life to blacks and woman, both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson signed legislation designed to assure these minority groups equality - specifically in voting and employment. Since then, the legislation has been strengthened to eliminate any possibility of prejudicial treatment.
