Ok, fine. I readily admit that this is a small-ish point. However: If a Republican dared to utter this sentence, it would be used by the mainstream media as an example of the right's alleged intolerance, bigotry, and misogyny. A conservative who said this would be torn apart by the giggling mainstream-media jackals like last week's roadkill.
