‘Silent No More’ Awareness Campaign

People who question the use of graphic abortion pictures because of their effects on children and women may not have considered some important distinctions. We can console the child who feels remorse from seeing graphic abortion pictures, or when these are explained to him or her. However, the child who is killed by an abortion can never be reached with our words, nor with our touch. The unborn child has not only been hurt, but has had his or her very life taken away. We can comfort a woman who is reminded by such pictures of a miscarriage from the past. However, a woman who commits an abortion has done grave injury to her soul—whether she consciously acknowledges this or not. Doesn’t the concern for such a woman take precedence? The testimonies of women with 'Silent No More' Awareness Campaign and Canada Silent No More attest to the devastating effects of abortion. God holds earthly human life in such high regard that He forbids the murder of a human being; yet, on a relative basis, God values our eternal souls enormously more than our earthly lives.
