So, what came first - the U.S. tariffs, Canada's retaliatory tariffs or the U.S. reciprocal tariffs?

So, presently there are no tariffs on Canada by the U.S. – let that sink in…


So, what came first – did the U.S. tariffs actually get implemented; was Canada too quick with their retaliatory tariffs; and what about those reciprocal tariffs that come into play on April 2?

As you all probably know, I do not agree with the retaliatory tariffs, because all they are going to do is harm Canadians. That said, I am not the only one saying this. Ian Lee, associate professor at Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, is pretty much in line with what I have been saying, all along.
