This week, State Department spokesperson Marie Harf made waves by claiming that we can't "kill our way out of this war" with ISIS. Since poverty is helping extremism take root in a completely-unknown-religion-that-is-totally-not-Islam, a jobs program is probably the right way to go. Once radical Muslims have a little pocket change, they'll supposedly relax.
Even Chris Matthews thought this was utterly ridiculous.
