Taking on "sanctuary campuses"


-- BombThrowers Since the Nov. 8 election almost 30 college and university campuses across the country have declared themselves beyond the reach of federal immigration law. They call themselves "sanctuary campuses" and more schools are considering hopping on the anti-immigration enforcement bandwagon. This is part of an "escalation campaign" by radical student organizations hellbent on fighting President Trump's efforts to secure America's borders and deport criminals who are present in the country illegally. There have been demonstrations at many colleges and universities in support of sanctuary campus status. Reportedly the following schools have been affected: Connecticut College, Dartmouth College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Middlebury College, Mills College, Rutgers University, St. Mary's College, Stanford University, Texas State University, Texas Womans University, Trinity College, Tufts University, University of Illinois campuses, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Mississippi, University of New Mexico, University of North Texas, University of Pennsylvania, University of San Diego, Vanderbilt University, Wesleyan University, and Yale University.
