The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has sent a $25,000 voluntary buyout offer to its 80,000 employees, giving them until March 14 to accept.

The move comes as DOGE works to drastically reduce the federal workforce, with agency heads under pressure to make cuts—or risk Elon stepping in.

HHS Secretary RFK Jr. previously signaled plans to remove staff tied to Big Pharma, while critics warn cuts could impact Medicare, Medicaid, and vaccine policy reforms.
